HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?
The Rejuvapen Automatic Therapy System utilizes precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, vertical micro perforations into the epidermis and the top layer of the dermis. As a result, the skin shifts its natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro-perforations.

DOES IT HURT?
Clients describe the sensation of micro-needling similar to vibration gently being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others the speed of the reciprocating needle tip makes the treatment comfortable. Your provider will apply a topical numbing cream to decrease any discomfort.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING and after MY VISIT?
The whole process is usually complete within 90 minutes. Your technician will explain the procedure and aftercare prior to treatment. A topical anesthetic will be applied to your skin to numb and ensure you are comfortable throughout. After your skin is numb, your technician will move the device over your skin targeting those problematic areas.
Upon completion, most look as though they have a moderate to severe sunburn and skin may feel warm and tighter than usual.
This is normal and will subside after 1 to 2 hours. Most clients usually recover within 24 hours or less.
Makeup can be worn as usual 2-3 days treatment. You must however continue to use a high factor sunscreen and any topical products suggested by your technician. Suitable medical camouflage may be worn immediately post-treatment.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DERMAL ROLLER AND REJUVAPEN?
Home rollers ( especially in the hands of untrained professionals) can be dangerous.
Rollers are a less controlled way to get your preforations that cause collagen remodeling and restructuring. This method tends to have a significantly higher amount of pain or tissue damage involved in comparison to the professional Rejuvapen device. There are microneedling pens all over the internet for "at home" use, it is safer to have this procedure performed by a trained professional. Offices maintain sanitary conditions and have the necessary tools and topical to ensure the treatment is done properly and so that maximum benefits can be achieved.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Rejuvapen is given usually in a series of 2 - 6 treatments, 14-30 days apart.
$200 per treatment or $500 for 3 treatments.
The full effects of Rejuvapen are relatively slower to develop; it can take up to two months for the system’s benefits to fully come to light. And, as always, we will work closely with you to most accurately determine how many treatments work best for you in accordance to results obtained and particular skin type.
