Microblading/Hairstroke Brows vs. Powder Brows: Which one is for me?
Brow style will be decided during your procedure appointment with your technicians guidance. You do not have to commit to your "style" prior to scheduling
HAIRSTROKE BROWS:
The look of "hair". Also called: 3D Brows, Feather Brows, Microblading, Embroidered, Nano Brows, and more.
Hairstrokes are gently implanted into the skin creating a crisp, clean, hair-like effect. Because the implanted pigment width is so fine, and less color is implanted, this method by itself requires more frequent touch-ups to maintain the new color.
*Two, and sometimes three, visits are necessary to create final result. This touchup is done between 10-12 weeks. This is directly related to the both skin type, application style, and aftercare. Additional Fee applies.
***Touchup rate is more often that other techniques, lasting the average person 10-18 months. Of course, individual results will vary.
POWDER /SHADED BROWS:
Very much able to achieve a soft, natural look, this is a more "filled in" outcome. Pigment is implanted to resemble the powdery or shaded look of makeup. Powder brows are diverse with the ability to create the look of a subtle, barely there wash of color, or a more dramatic look.
A second visit is not always necessary for final result, however due to some skin types and/or aftercare, a 10-12 week touchup my be necessary for final result. Additional fee applies.

Combo Brow:
Bringing the two application techniques together.
A combination of hair strokes and soft shading to create a polished, full brow, maintaining the softness of crisp hairstrokes through the defining areas of the brow, particularly th. While hairstrokes will tend to fade, this style of brow will hold its pigment and shape for a longer duration, that closer to the expected longevity of a powder brow. The majority of the brow is typically done in the powder style.

Gloss and Go! Lip blushing enhances the color and defines the shape of your lips to create a vibrant flush and sometimes the illusion of a more full look. This is not a "opaque lipstick" look, rather a flush of color in the desired shade.

ALL PROCEDURES: To correct color from previous Permanent Makeup that was NOT done at Permanent Makeup Boise, a minimum $100 fee is added to the price of any procedure. Prices vary depending on the scope of the correction required.
Typically, color needing correcting must be faded at least 75% before technician may consider correcting.
PERMANENT MAKEUP NON-LASER REMOVAL

Permanent brows are among the most popular of cosmetic tattoo enhancements. Not all technicians are equally qualified or adept at applying this type of tattoo. Pigment may be the wrong color. The pigment can drift. The application may be clumsy, careless, and/or crooked.
It’s hard to hide a poorly applied permanent makeup, and no one should have to.

After the first treatment with our non-laser technique, the pigment gradually fades over several weeks. One may continue to treat and fade tattoo completely, or may opt to have tattoo lightened to the point of being able to have a successful coverup procedure.
